Why teams look at NitroStack
01
The rest of the server is included
NitroStackScaffold, tools, Studio, and Cloud are one product.

NitroStack and Official MCP SDK, side by side.
This is who the row favors. It is not a benchmark, and it does not use their published numbers as if they were ours.

Honest limits
Where Official MCP SDK is the better fit.
- You want the reference implementationIf the job is to follow the spec exactly and assemble everything else in-house, start with the official SDK. It is the reference, and it covers more languages than NitroStack.
- The server is a small internal scriptA handful of tools on a machine you already operate does not need Studio or Cloud. Leave the extra product off.
03
Making the switch
- 01Keep the tool behavior. Replace the plumbing you assembled around the official SDK.
- 02Scaffold the server with the NitroStack CLI, in TypeScript or Python.
- 03Try each tool in NitroStudio before it has a public URL.
- 04Deploy on NitroCloud, or send a POC request and we will tell you if it fits.
Questions
Before you move anything.
Do I have to throw away a server built on the official SDK?
No. The POC is a look at whether NitroStack should own the path from the tool to the host. The protocol stays MCP either way.
Is NitroStack open source?
The SDK, the CLI, and the widgets are open source. NitroStudio and NitroCloud are the products around that core. You can start locally without a credit card.
What if we are not sure it fits?
Send a POC request whether you need one or not. We will tell you if NitroStack is the right place for this server.
Run NitroStack next to what you have.
Sign up and try the server, or ask the team for a free POC. Keep the current setup until the new one is the one you want.
